You are cordially invited to the September 17, 2008 Ventura ICC Chapter Monthly Meeting.    

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
As you know, ICC Ventura Chapter intends to support two members to attend the ICC Conference and code change hearing in Minneapolis. We will award up to $1,700.00 to cover incidental cost as outlined below. 
We don't have a formal application form. However, please provide the following information to allow us to make a decision:
1. The applicant must be an active member of the ICC Ventura Chapter (ICC VC),  at least for an year.
2. He/she must represent a jurisdiction which is recognized by the ICC and CALBO as a class 'A' member.
3. He/she must be an active member who attends meetings and participate in committees of the ICC VC.
4. He/she must be willing to serve ICC VC in the future as an officer of the Executive Board; Show a possible year of participation as an officer of the Board
5. He/she must be recognized by the ICC and CALBO as a voting member.
6. He/she must attend the hearing portion of the conference.
7. He/she must submit a proposed schedule of hearing attendance with the application.
8. He/she must submit a written report with an oral presentation to November 19 ICC VC chapter meeting.
9. Travel, lodging and boarding cost will be reimbursed not to exceed $1700.00
10. Governmental guidelines will be used to qualify an eligible cost item.
11. Request for reimbursement must include a written report and cost breakdown with all receipts to substantiate expenses.
Answer questions 1 thru 9 and email it to Ms. Renee Meriaux reneemeriaux@caaprofessionals.com  by September 1. Maximum two candidates will be chosen from the applicants who will meet the above criterion. Next scheduled training for ICC/IAS Building Department Accreditation Lead Evaluators: The training program will be extremely beneficial to Building Officials who would like to seek Accreditation for their jurisdictions.  Go to the ICC/IAS web-site and click on training, find the application and information you need. The class will fill up soon so look at the deadline. Building Valuation Data. The International Code Council® is pleased to provide the Building Valuation Data (BVD) for its members.  ICC publishes the BVD in an effort to provide the most efficient set of information for jurisdictions to use.  ICC strongly recommends that all jurisdictions and other interested parties actively evaluate and assess the impact of the BVD table before utilizing it in their current code enforcement activities.  PDF format    XLS format
