	Welcome to the ICC Ventura Region Chapter website. Our Chapter includes both member jurisdictions and individual professional members. Click for the flyer for our banquet (PDF), and again please be sure to circulate the flyer among your staff. The banquet will be held at the Ventura Yacht Club at 1755 Spinnaker Drive, Ventura, CA 93001. Starts @ 6:00pm. The Ventura Yacht Club is truly a special historical place. It has a wonderful, warm atmosphere with views of the ocean and Ventura harbor. Enjoy some great food and company, refreshments, music & dancing, or just sit by the fire with friends, relax and win some great prizes. Remember you are welcome to bring along a friend or spouse. We forgot to mention in the flyer that dress will be evening attire and for desert (there was some concern) there will be delicious chocolate cake and New York raspberry cheesecake:) Don’t forget everyone attending gets a raffle ticket and has a chance to win some great prizes! Learn more about the latest seminars and other training opportunities> View past Chapter Meeting minutes> Code Council Offers Complimentary Download of New IGCC Version 2.0 The International Code Council has launched Version 2.0 of the International Green Construction Code for use as a jurisdictional tool to regulate green construction, and as a document for comment leading into the 2011 Code Development and Final Action hearings. You may access IGCC PV 2.0, including excerpts of the code's Water Provisions as free downloads, on the Code Council's website. Another advantage is the ability to view ICC Evaluation Service reports on your phone. Download a copy (Powerpoint format, 9MB) of the 2008 lighting presentation from the July 2009 ICC chapter training in Ventura. The mechanical portion of the training was cancelled by the California Energy Commission to be rescheduled based on their availability. The mechanical training is included in the original cost and the Chapter will send out notice as soon as we are able to establish a date with the CEC. In addition, for those of you who registered for the Energy Training, a credit has be issued for free admittance to the September Green Building seminar in Calabasas.
