Meeting Minutes

REGULAR MEETING MINUTES OF November 16, 2005 @ 12:00 P.M.

Location:  Ottavio’s Restaurant, 1620 Ventura Blvd., Camarillo, CA

Meeting Attendance: Chapter members and guests present: 14

Representatives of the following cities, counties and other agencies were present:

CITIES: Agoura Hills, Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, San Buenaventura, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks

COUNTIES :Ventura County B&S

OTHER AGENCIES : CA Code Check, Other 

Call To Order:  The meeting was called to order at 1:35 p.m.

Old Business:

• Ray Young asked that all jurisdictions donate gifts for the Holiday Party and he led a discussion on the party format and objectives and possible modifications.
• Andrew Stuffler informed the group that a plant was bought for Jack Phillips’ mother from chapter funds.  He also introduced Joel Ortiz who was representing the Counter Technician Association.

• Tony Falcone started a discussion on ISO, ICC, and IAS accreditation and also on Building Permit records and Escrow.
• Jack Phillips informed the group about recycling requirements for construction material and area dedication and asked for input from the other jurisdictions on how they were handling it.

• Amal Sinha requested more information for posting on the Chapter website.
• Tom Harris discussed future seminars on the Electrical Code and Energy Code.

Announcements: Andrew Stuffler announced the upcoming installation dinner on January 18, 2006
